The Sexton is responsible for the clean and orderly appearance of the Building and Grounds of the Manatee Unitarian Universalist Fellowship. This position has four main components: Ensuring the lawn, hedges, and trees are tended to on a regular basis. Ensure the building is clean and well kept. Perform janitorial services and basic maintenance and repair of the building and grounds. Coordinate with Church Administrator for out-sourced vendors to perform larger maintenance and repair. A list of tasks is available upon request.
Experience: Demonstrated history of at least three years of hands on experience in property or facility maintenance work. Intermediate janitorial and basic maintenance experience in areas such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC and etc.
