We provide the gunite (dry-mix concrete) foundation for swimming pools ranging from simple residential projects to highly engineered and architecturally designed pools. Our team brings extensive knowledge, strong work ethic, and respect for every person who helps make the job happen.
We are looking for a CDL Gunite Driver to join our Bradenton team.
💰 PAY & SCHEDULE
• Starting at $1,000+ per week
• 40+ hours per week
• Monday–Friday
• Overtime available
• Saturdays only occasionally, when needed
• IMMEDIATE OPENING — qualified candidates can move quickly through the hiring process
🚛 WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Safely operate commercial vehicles and gunite-related equipment
• Transport and manage material flow on job sites
• Support the crew during pool construction and concrete application projects
• Help maintain a safe, organized, and productive job site
⚠️ REQUIRED
• CDL Class A or Class B
• Minimum 2 years of CDL driving experience
• Must be able to drive a standard/manual transmission
• Ability to lift 30+ lbs, bend, climb, and work outdoors in Florida heat
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
⭐ STRONG CANDIDATES WILL HAVE
• Previous experience driving gunite trucks
• Experience operating a front-end loader
• Previous dump truck or concrete truck experience
No gunite experience? That's okay. Southern Gunite is willing to train the right CDL driver.
