North Fork Builders is hiring a dependable, hands-on Shop & Delivery Coordinator to help keep our construction projects running smoothly.
This is an active, varied position with a significant amount of time spent on the road transporting materials, tools, and equipment between our Bozeman shop, vendors, and jobsites throughout Southwest Montana.
We're looking for someone who is confident driving trucks and towing trailers, enjoys working independently, and takes pride in being the person others can count on.
Travel: Regular deliveries to Big Sky, Paradise Valley, and surrounding areas
Company vehicle provided for work-related driving
Competitive hourly pay based on experience
Reports to our Shop Superintendent
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
A large part of this job is driving and supporting jobsite logistics, but no two days will look exactly alike.
Pick up and deliver materials, tools, and equipment
Drive company trucks and safely tow, back, and maneuver trailers
Load, secure, transport, and unload materials and equipment
Help move tools and equipment as projects start and finish
Coordinate deliveries and pickups with jobsites and vendors
Keep our warehouse, yard, tools, and equipment organized
Assist with equipment maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs
Operate forklifts, skid steers, and other equipment as trained
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Experience towing, backing, and maneuvering trailers
Confidence driving in Montana's changing road and weather conditions
Ability to safely load and secure materials and equipment
Dependable, organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently
Willingness to perform physical, hands-on work year-round
Good communication skills and a team-first attitude
A PLUS, BUT NOT REQUIRED
CDL (we're willing to help the right candidate obtain one)
Construction or material delivery experience
Forklift, skid steer, or other equipment experience
Basic mechanical or equipment maintenance skills
