I have 2 very bright 4th grade boys (9 & 10, h) who are begging for STEM/Robotics content. We’re looking for someone fun, patient, and great with kids to teach them beginner Python using MBlock/Lego-spike-prime style robotics (we have all the kits).
🧠 The Kids: Bright (both tested > 95th percentile nationally in math), curious, and super respectful. They’re awesome. They began working on this last summer but their tutor moved away. I would describe them as beginner++.
🛠️ The Content: You’ll guide them through hands-on projects using Block + Python programming on MBlock & Lego Spike Prime.
📍 When & Where:
• Saturday or Sunday mornings (either day, whatever time works for you)
• Just south of Bozeman, near the Sourdough Trailhead
💵 Pay: $75/hr
🎯 You Are:
• Proficient in Python (basic projects)
• Fun, patient, and great with kids
• Reliable with transportation
• Any teaching/tutoring background is a big plus
📢 If you know a great MSU student or teacher who’d love this, please share!
