Emmie is a 15-hand (approx) Thoroughbred, 11-year-old mare with a background as a racehorse, polo pony, and trail horse.
She is easy to catch, halter, and load, and she is good for the farrier. She is not bothered by traffic or dogs and does not buck, bite, or kick.
Emmie is best suited to an intermediate to advanced rider. She can pull back on the rail, although this has improved with training. Because of this, I do not hard-tie her.
She does have a club foot on her left front. It does not appear to affect her, and my farrier has not identified it as causing any issues.
I originally intended to use Emmie for trail riding, but with a baby and not having the time I need to enjoy her, I feel she would be better suited to someone who can give her the time and attention she deserves.
She is a nice mare for someone looking for a polo pony or trail horse. I am looking for a good home where she will be well cared for and enjoyed. She is really sweet.
Asking $2,000 firm and I will be picky about where she goes.
