Responsibilities:
Set up and program the computer responsible for the CNC machine
Plan machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, and materials
Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces
Maintain specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling, and thread chasing operations
Follows safety regulations and company guidelines
Work in teams with responsibility for a single element of a larger project
