We’re looking for exceptional kitchen people, and we’re willing to pay for them.
If you can cook, lead a crew, and help make a good kitchen better, we want to meet you. We take the work seriously, and we believe the people doing it should be paid well and have a life outside the kitchen.
We’re hiring an Assistant Kitchen Manager to support our Kitchen Manager, lead assigned shifts, and help keep our team moving forward. This is a hands-on position. You’ll work the line on every shift, with a strong focus on pizza, service execution, and keeping the kitchen organized. We want someone who notices what needs doing and follows through: keep the line stocked, help a teammate who’s buried, catch problems early, and leave the next crew set up to succeed.
THE SCHEDULE
The regular schedule is approximately 35 hours per week:
Three 10-hour shifts, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., as the manager on duty. You’ll work the line while leading the crew, coordinating service, and taking responsibility for the shift.
A shorter fourth shift, generally 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., working the line alongside the kitchen manager. This is an overlap day, with both of you in the kitchen.
That gives you three full shifts and one shorter shift each week, with substantial time outside work. 3 & 1/2 ON, 3 & 1/2 OFF
You’ll also be the last line of defense for vacation coverage, time off, and staffing gaps. Flexibility to help outside your regular schedule is part of the role. Those types of coverage WILL Produce OT/longer weeks from time to time.
PIZZA EXPERIENCE COUNTS
High-volume pizza experience matters. If you can stretch, top, bake, and box at pace while coordinating tickets with sandwiches, salads, and fryers, we want to talk. BOH or pizza experience is preferred. We’re open to developing the right person with the kitchen instincts, reliability, and attitude to grow into the role.
PAY
