Pugh Pools is seeking a hardworking, dependable, and motivated Pool Construction machine operator to assist with the construction of custom residential and commercial swimming pools and water features. This position requires working outdoors in varying weather conditions while supporting all phases of pool construction and a valid drivers license.
## Responsibilities
* Assist with layout, excavation preparation, and site cleanup.
* Load, unload, and transport construction materials and equipment.
* Assist crews with plumbing, steel installation, forming, concrete work, masonry, tile, coping, decking, and finishing work.
* Dig trenches and backfill as directed.
* Operate hand tools and power tools safely.
* Maintain a clean and organized job site.
* Follow instructions from supervisors and skilled tradesmen.
* Assist with equipment installation and material staging.
* Ensure all work is performed safely and according to company standards.
* Report safety hazards or job site concerns immediately.
* Represent Pugh Pools professionally when interacting with homeowners, builders, and inspectors.
## Qualifications
* Construction experience preferred but not required.
* Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the day.
* Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
* Comfortable working outdoors in heat, rain, and uneven terrain.
* Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
* Reliable transportation to and from work.
* Valid driver's license preferred.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
## Physical Requirements
* Frequent lifting, bending, kneeling, climbing, digging, and standing.
* Ability to work in Florida weather conditions for extended periods.
* Ability to safely operate construction tools and equipment.
## Schedule
* Full-Time
* Monday through Friday
* Overtime and occasional Saturdays may be required based on project schedules.
