We have here a wonderful 'Time Capsule'! A collection of large (apx.30 x 36"), nicely framed paintings (i.e. textured prints) of period, elegant women in formal dress, playing the piano in a 'period' living room. This type of art was sold by 5 and 10 cent stores like; Woolworth, Grant's, etc. during the late 1940-1950's. Music lovers could now decorate their 'middle class' living rooms with large, colorful, well framed textured repro-paintings, thus adding elegance to their modest dwellings at a 5 and 10 cent store price! Most of these pictures certainly show the wear of 75 years (see photos) but hold up remarkably well thus capturing a long ago era. Come down and see all, pick out one for $45 or a special discount for quantity purchase! Click on my link under the Google Map to see my many other listings.
