I have 5 chicks available. One hatched 3-ish weeks or so. He was the sole survivor from a broody hen’s cluck. She didn’t accept him, and trampled him. When the new chicks hatched about a week ago, I put the older ones together with the older one, and he loves being with companions! He adopted the 4 babies, sits on them to keep them warm, and they see him as “mom” and follow him everywhere.

The babies will still require a heat lamp or heat plate for the youngest ones.
