The Amazon Kindle Touch is a very old model (D01200) and is no longer supported by Amazon, so you would have to "sideload" DRM-free books manually from your computer with the included data-capable micro USB cable. You would NOT be able to use Kindle books you have in your Amazon account. It does have some books on it now. You can only download compatible files such as DRM-free MOBI/AZW/AZW3, PDF, or TXT. You can get DRM-free ebooks from sources such as Project Gutenberg, Standard Ebooks, or publishers that sell DRM-free downloads.
You can use the free Calibre program to convert DRM-free EPUBs to AZW3 or MOBI.
