Authentic Kittinger Williamsburg Adaptation mahogany bachelor's chest, marked inside the drawer with the original Kittinger/Williamsburg stamp. Beautiful, extremely solid construction with dovetailed drawers, brass hardware and a pull-out writing/dressing surface.
The chest is structurally very sound and all drawers function properly. It does have significant superficial wear to the finish from years of use/storage and would benefit from professional refinishing.
One of the small pull-out supports for the writing surface has a broken wood piece. The original missing piece has been found and is included. We have intentionally left it unrepaired so the new owner can have it restored properly.
A wonderful quality piece for someone who appreciates Kittinger furniture and is willing to give it some cosmetic restoration.
