Taste is subjective, but I honestly believe this is the most beautiful Fender Stratocaster ever made. The sand blasted wood means the grooves in the wood receive the paint in different patterns, and you can feel the texture with your hands. It just has this aggression to it when you move it that I love so much.
The tone control has the no load circuitry, which means that when you switch it that last little bit to 10 you’ll feel it engage, and then it bypasses the circuitry entirely, effectively giving you a little gain boost at your fingertips.
The neck is smooth and straight. I’ve got it set up with heavier gauge strings with a slightly higher action so that I can play slide. But when I had it strung with nines, it was low and fast as could be.
I’m only selling it because I no longer really play electric guitar so it’s silly for me to have a beautiful guitar sitting on the wall doing nothing.
