This solid wood table has been in our family for at least 3 generations. The table is level and the legs sturdy. Although it is perfectly usable, it does show its age and evidence of use. To love this table, you have to love old things. We're moving to a smaller space, so it needs a new home.

With both leaves dropped (it's smallest footprint), the table center surface is 42"l x 16"w. The total footprint (including the space taken up by the dropped leaves) is 42"l x 18"w. So it can easily be pushed up against a wall and used as a side table or credenza.

Each of the side drop leaves is about 42"l x12"w. You can open or drop either side leaf independently of the other.

With one leaf open, the table top is 42"l x 28"w.

When both leaves are opened, the table top is 42"l x 40"w.

The table top surface is 29" above the floor.

We also have 4 chairs from the same set. The chairs were never meant for heavy people, and their condition is not as good as the table. Some of the lower rungs are puppy-chewed, and a couple are loose. Each has a wine-colored cushion included. We are throwing these chairs and cushions in for free if you want them with the table.

Besides a kitchen or dining table, these pieces could also become useful workspace in an office or a craft room.
