2007 Dodge Sprinter 2500 144-inch wheelbase, high roof camper, 3.0L V6 turbo diesel, five-speed automatic, rear-wheel drive, and approximately 288,000 miles. Mercedes badging; registered as a Dodge. Typical gas mileage is mid-teens in the city, high teens/low 20s on the highway.
I've owned it since December 2013 and built a simple camper interior around a bed platform, practical storage, and quality materials.
========================
Highlights:
- Cabinet-grade 3/4" maple plywood on bed platform and cabinet faces.
- Two large stacked drawers on locking heavy-duty slides in the rear gear garage.
- Black leatherette seats from a 2023 Sprinter, both with Alpine Mechanisms low-profile swivels.
- Corian countertop with an undermount stainless steel sink.
- Two tan 20L Scepter fresh-water containers and one black Scepter gray-water container w/ domestic style P-trap.
- Two 198Ah AGM house batteries with CTEK battery management; alternator and shore-power charging. No solar panel currently installed.
- Dimmable overhead LED lighting.
- Maxxair roof fan, layered Thinsulate/EZ Cool insulation, and extensive sound deadening with Rattle Trap Extreme.
- Removable interior panels secured with Rivnuts and furniture bolts.
- RB Components overhead shelf with padded Marathon Tweed upholstery.
- Wanderful bug screens for sliding door and rear door included, not installed.
- Wanderful blackout window covers for rear doors, sliding door and driver side cargo are window.
- CR Laurence T-vent windows at the slider and driver-side cargo area.
- Remis blinds for windshield and front doors.
- Engine-bay ARB air compressor on a VanCompass mount, with a hose reaching all four wheels. This allows you to adjust tire pressure as you change altitudes/temps since most gas station air compressors are not adequate (can also fill an inflatable SUP or other watercraft!).
- Aftermarket horn from Agile Offroad.
- BFG All-Terrain T/A KO2 Tires, including the spare.
- Thule snow chains included.

Major service completed at The Shop Automotive in September 2026 including new turbocharger intake manifolds, oil cooler reseal, transmission service, brake fluid flush, inner tie rod replacement and alignment, and rear differential pinion seal work.
Service invoices are available along with pre purchase inspection performed at last service.
This is an older, high-mileage van and I've been on top of the regular servicing and maintenance all done by reputable Sprinter mechanics. I've done some rust mitigation which you can see in the photos as slightly more matte white color on the body.
This has been a fantastic and reliable adventure vehicle and the current set-up is spacious and very comfy for two people. I've still been tinkering with finishing touches (personal preference/aesthetic) on the interior build but have less time for those now and am only selling because I'm using it much less for it's intended purpose -- fun long trips!
Happy to walk through the maintenance history and build with serious buyers and show more photos including insulation phase of the build.
