This tropical vivarium is the result of 2 years of planning and saving. I collected mini and micro mini species of tropical plants and moss for over a year and a half.
Included in this Vivarium are: the Zilla tank, a MistKing misting system, 3 fluval plant lights, timer, power strips, water feature, pump, heater, glass top, and shelving unit.
The exotic wood features, rocks, hides, expanding spray foam, silicone, substrates and substrate barriers, timer, electric strips, glass top, lighting, pump, heater, and shelving all cost me a small fortune.
Then things changed. I decided, after months of careful consideration and exploration, that I need to save money and live a simpler life. I made the decision to sell everything I own and am moving to Panama.
This vivarium has been a creative outlet and a labor of love. I’m very proud of it, and feel like I made a living work of art.
Over the 1.5 years of putting it all together I’ve spent a whopping $2,100 on all of the endless layers and materials. That doesn’t even include the months of creative labor I put into it.
I’m selling it for $800, firm.
This vivarium would be great for small/micro amphibians or reptiles. Or just an indoor tropical paradise.
