From what I can tell, this is a dedicated Archtop Acoustic / Jazz Box / Semi-Hollow style case. It is built with an aggressive, tight taper at the upper bout and a high, pinched waist specifically designed to hug arched instruments. Because of this specific body layout, it will NOT fit a standard flat-top acoustic dreadnought (a Martin D-18/D-28/D-35 will wedge at the waist and shoulders and cannot drop to the bottom).
However it perfectly matches the footprint of a 16" traditional archtop jazz box or a deep acoustic mini-jumbo. It also fits 16" thin-line semi-hollow electrics like an ES-335 perfectly across the lower bout and waist, though it will leave extra depth headroom at the bottom.
