Hello and thanks for clicking! I am a guitarist and singer in my mid 30s with about 20 years of experience playing in bands and performing on stage. I have been out of the music scene for a short while focusing on other projects, and am now feeling a hankering to get into or start a new band!
I have songs written in various genres but would love to collaborate and write more. I tend to move between louder, messier rock/alternative pieces and quieter pieces and would love to find a space to play with both of those modes! But if we were really clicking on one particular sound, im very also happy to pursue it!
Ideally id love to be in a band with multiple guitarists and perhaps other multi-instrumentalists, but id love to start with a solid drum/bass/guitar foundation before expanding.
On the noisier side of things, some bands I love and consider big influences are: built to spill, dinosaur jr, pavement, modest mouse, wolf parade, minor threat, cap'n' jazz, husker du, nada surf, los campesinos
On the quieter side: elliott smith, phoebe bridgers, lambchop, Belle & Sebastian, holopaw, mount eerie
If this sounds like something that might be up your alley, please send me a message, include some tracks of yourself if youd like, and ill be sure to send you some of my stuff back!
Ideally would be able to be recording songs and playing shows and just making music we're super proud of!
