I have several enterprise-grade APC Smart-UPS RT 2200VA Online Double-Conversion UPS, cleanly decommissioned from a climate-controlled University of Washington server room environment.

Unlike cheap consumer backup strips, this is a true enterprise "Online" topology system. It continuously regenerates a pristine, pure sine-wave AC output, offering maximum protection for sensitive server gear, delicate electronics, or laboratory setups. In the event of a power outage, the switch to battery power is completely seamless and instant (0ms transfer time).
