Looking for a companion parrot. I'm home alone most the time while my husband works long hours. When I was younger my dad had a amazon parrot. Since then I've had experience with different birds myself. Would rather take in a rescue or bird in need of a new home rather than buy from a pet store. I dont mind paying a reasonable rehoming fee. I also dont mind if the bird is not hand tame. I dont expect a older bird to be comfortable on day one. I understand it will take time for them to adjust and im willing to provide ample love and treats to gain trust and build a lasting bond.
