For sale is a very nice 1949 Roosevelt Silver Dime graded and certified by NGC as MS-67, which is an incredibly rare grade for this coin. The 1949 had a small mintage of just 30 million coins, which may sound like a lot but it actually is a much lower mintage than most of the years that follow, but what really makes this coin so collectable is its high MS-67 grade. This is an incredibly rare grade for a coin from the 1940's to achieve because the minting process back then wasn't as high quality as it is today, so generally coins from this era are lucky to achieve MS-65. In fact MS-67 is so rare that only 309 coins have been certified to this grade at NGC, and only a tiny 5 coins have achieved a grade higher than MS-67. MS-68 is the highest grade a 1949 has achieved. THAT'S how rare this coin is!
As you can see from the pics the coin is in amazing condition. It has all the original mint luster to it and all the details on it just pop. It does has a bluish-toned patina to both sides. And with it already certified by NGC it gives you the confidence of its very high grade.
This an amazing coin to add to any rare collection. Please email me with interest or questions. Thanks!
