Low Voltage Technician – Full Time – Pay DOE
TDR Electric is looking for an experienced Low Voltage Technician to join our team in the Boise/Meridian area.
We’re looking for someone with mid-level experience who can work independently while also working well with our electricians, project managers, and other trades.
Typical work includes:
Access control
Security systems
Fire alarm
Data/telecom cabling
Fiber and structured cabling
Cameras/CCTV
AV and other low-voltage systems
Device installation, termination, testing, and troubleshooting
Reading plans and coordinating work in the field
Ideal candidate:
Approximately 2–5+ years of low-voltage experience
Comfortable working independently on assigned tasks
Able to read plans and follow project requirements
Good troubleshooting skills
Reliable and organized
Valid driver’s license
Professional with customers, contractors, and coworkers
Experience across every system listed above is not required. We are looking for someone with a solid low-voltage foundation who is willing to continue learning.
Position: Full Time
Location: Boise / Meridian and surrounding Treasure Valley
Pay: DOE – based on experience and capabilities
