About Us
We are a Boise-area design and home improvement company helping homeowners and real estate agents make homes more beautiful, functional, and ready for what’s next.
Our work includes interior design, remodeling, home staging, and flooring and finish selections through our design center. Because these services work together, our team can assist with everything from selecting materials to managing renovations and preparing homes for sale.
We are a small, hands-on team. Everyone helps keep projects organized, communicates clearly, and steps in where needed.
About the Position
We are looking for an organized, design-minded person to support our design and remodeling projects from initial concept through completion.
This is an entry-level position combining junior design work, project coordination, materials management, and client communication. It is a good fit for someone who loves design but also enjoys schedules, details, problem-solving, and following through.
This is not a desk-only or purely creative design position. You will work in the design center, communicate with clients and vendors, visit jobsites, handle samples and materials, and help keep multiple projects moving.
Responsibilities
* Create preliminary design packages and refine presentations for clients and the team.
* Assist with researching and selecting flooring, paint, lighting, hardware, and other finishes.
* Order, label, organize, and track samples and design materials.
* Maintain the sample library and displays in the design center.
* Record material selections, pricing, lead times, and product information.
* Create clear scopes of work and assist with project schedules.
* Coordinate vendors, material deliveries, appointments, and jobsite details.
* Communicate project updates to clients, vendors, and team members.
* Track open items, changes, questions, and issues through completion.
* Maintain project records, vendor information, lockbox details, photos, and internal workflows.
* Visit jobsites to document progress, confirm details, and help resolve questions.
* Pitch in with practical, hands-on tasks when projects require it.
What We’re Looking For
* Highly organized across calendars, email, texts, project details, and deadlines.
* Reliable, punctual, responsive, and comfortable being accountable for follow-through.
* Able to manage details across several active projects.
* Clear and professional in written, phone, and in-person communication.
* Passionate about interiors and design, with a practical and flexible approach.
* Comfortable receiving direction, asking questions, and learning through hands-on experience.
* Able to remain calm and solution-oriented when plans or priorities change.
* Comfortable using—or learning—Google Workspace, spreadsheets, presentation software, and project-management systems.
* Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and safely handle samples and materials.
* Able to travel locally between the design center, vendors, and jobsites.
Experience in interior design, visual merchandising, construction, real estate, hospitality, retail, or project coordination is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person.
Growth Opportunity
Our goal is to help the right candidate grow into greater responsibility in design development and project management. Advancement will be based on reliability, organization, judgment, communication, and demonstrated ability—not simply time in the role.
