Gibson Les Paul studio 100 birthday custom build with upgraded white pickguard/ knobs/ pickup surrounds/and switch plate
The wine-red finish is incredibly well applied and shows off the maple cap very well. The maple cap goes over a weight relieved mahogany body. The set-neck is mahogany – it’s always nice to see a mahogany neck. It’s described as a slim taper. The Fretboard is a single piece of fairly thick, well finished rosewood, finished off with trapezoid inlays.22 frets of course, all of which are very neatly laid and polished. A brass nut w a synthetic bone replacement nut included.. This nut is adjustable as well – a very nice touch which could be very useful. Changed the G-force out to Grover locking tuners. Pickups are a 57 Classic at the neck and a slightly hotter 57 Plus at the bridge. These are pretty decent pickups. They are Alnico 2 so the tone should certainly be vintage and sweet rather than metal mayhem. Push-pull volume knobs allow for coil-splitting to achieve P90-style tones. The wiring has been beefed up and the circuit has orange drop capacitors. Road Runner moulded case. Comes w synthetic bone nut replacement piece if needed.Text 5six1 7two zero 964seven
