Lola is a beautiful and sweet 4 year old mare.
She is 16”2 with a smooth body and nice movements. Lola has had a lot of ground work. She stands to have her feet done, be bathed, groomed, and tacked. Lola lunges free or on a line, she has had desensitizing done and knows all her yields. She has also been lightly restarted under saddle.
Now for the cons,: Lola is very sensitive and quirky. She will get upset quickly if she doesn’t understand something, gets spooked or is simply tired of doing it. She will rear or shoot forward. She is big, powerful and knows it. Her reactions are big. This horse is only for an experienced trainer and someone who wants to put the work and patience into making her something special. She rides best in the round pen but gets upset in the arena. I’ve ridden on the trails and she’s ok but very strong. She has had her teeth done, feet done, saddle fit, and vet check when I bought her so her quirks don’t seem to be related to physical discomfort. The photos are recent and I have recent videos. Especially for a horse that is laid-back enough to fit into a lesson program. Older or not stunningly beautiful is just fine if they’re safe.
