Phoenix needs a home (Blanco)

Phoenix was rescued from a bad situation at a few months old. She came to us covered in chemical burns and on the edge of death. With our vet, we saved her life. She’s a big, fun-loving girl who just wants to sprawl out on the couch and nap — but she does not get along with other dogs or with cats. In tight spaces or around food, she reacts badly with other dogs of any size. After Phoenix went after our older dog, we’ve made the difficult decision to find her a new home.

She loves people and loves playing with our kids. She enjoys roaming the backyard with them or snuggling in bed.

Phoenix is house-trained and kennel-trained. She sleeps in her kennel at night. She listens to instructions and (mostly) follows them. She’s patient with the vet and doesn’t need to be held or muzzled when they give her shots or take her blood.

She’s just had her annual immunizations and I have all the paperwork. She’s 4 years old, spayed, 73 pounds, and heart worm negative.

Rehoming fee of $50.
