A cord of firewood measures 4 x 4 x 8. Don't let anyone tell you that it is not. Nor tell you that you are buying a Face cord. This is not a legal cord of firewood. Most wood today is cut into sixteen-inch lengths (16) That measurement is approximate. those pieces could be a little longer or a little shorter, but the majority would be 16 inch in length. Most people use wood stoves instead of fireplaces today. Fireplaces could burn 2-foot wood. But most people have wood stoves. The old-fashioned cook stoves accommodated 12 to 14 inch firewood. Now that is short. Yes, this is an advertisement. We have 16 inch wood here in Black Diamond for sale. Open six days a week. Not Sunday. One more thing. Bring cash because credit and debit cards are charged an added fee.
