A news organization needs you to visit a proposed data-center campus to document how far construction has progressed and what residents are experiencing.
Please focus on:
Photos: Capture earthmoving, foundations, building frames, generators, cooling equipment, and electricity connections. Photograph visible water-line construction, pumping equipment, and water deliveries. Note whether major equipment is being stored, installed, or tested.
Workers: Ask what they are building, what comes next, and whether crews have paused, moved, or changed schedules. If they mention permit delays or problems securing electricity or water, record their explanation and how they know.
Residents and opposition: Speak with nearby ranchers, residents, and local businesses about construction traffic, noise, water use, and changes they have noticed in their wells. Photograph opposition signs and identify organized groups or upcoming local meetings. Record specific concerns and any supporting evidence.
Identify yourself as on assignment for Hunterbrook Media. Stay on public property unless given permission to enter.
Deliver: A same-day summary, dated and labeled original photos, interview notes, and follow-up contacts. Separate what you saw from what people told you. Flag significant stoppages or unexpected developments promptly.
Paid $600. Reply with your location, availability by 11/6, and relevant experience.
