Beware of 7 Brentwood ave. The house is falling apart. Mold and alot of plumbing issues, and the sunroom leaks water bad so mold is growing. Mold in the hallway bathroom and in the master bathroom. Landlord refuses to fix things when it needs to be fixed. Alot of sinkholes as well. Neighbors are racist and will start issues and the landlord refuses to put up a privacy fence. The landlord will harass you while you are at work and if you don't answer he threatens to take you to court. His secretary is horrible as well. They want you to pay half rent in the middle of the month and then the other half on the 1st. Beware of this landlord and this property. He will also lie to the courts so he can get more money out of you. He also will tell you one thing but does another. The central AC is messed up as well so when you have the air on the heat comes on. It leaks in the basement and mold has grown down their as well. Their is no dry bar so he is lying. The sewer is so messed up and when the pips leak out back and you tell him he will say plumbing is not his issue that it is yours. Front yard gets sink holes all the time and as for the back yard good luck if you want to go outside because you will be harassed by the neighbors dog who will try to bite you through the fence. Oh at 2 to 3 am in the morning both dogs are outside barking. The back yard is very unleveled so you have tons of dips. The master bathroom the ceiling has mold and the ceiling is falling apart. The tub backs up and water doesn't drain properly. The house gets very cold and the wiring in that house is bad as well so be prepared for a 5 to 6 hundred dollar electric bill. The hallway gets extremely cold since he left a fan on the ceiling with holes that cold air comes in. The attic isn't properly done so you can see the outside in both attics. Water not only leaks from the windows ontop in the sun room but it also leaks from the door. Extremely cold in winter and extremely hot during summer. He refuses to put heat in their. If you leave the door open to let heat go in the sunroom during the winter it stays cold downstairs no matter what. Cold air even comes in from the non-working fire place so you have to cover that up. The house over all is bad and needs alot of work. The landlord is a slumlord so Beware. If you want a slumlord who only wants money go for it. He also doesn't like a woman standing up to him and will treat her very disrespectful. I could tell you all about him and the type of person he is. He will raise rent on you every year because he likes to constantly go on vacations but will refuse to fix anything. Our refrigerator went out totally stopped working he refused to replace it with a new one. His words were im not paying for a new one and he will make you buy one but expect you to leave that refrigerator you paid for. The microwave went out along with the dishwasher he refused to replace it. Stove doesn't work right either but he wouldn't replace it. Cabinets are cheap so anything you put in will start to buckle on you. Unless you want a house falling apart and not worth $2800 stay away far away.
