I’m hoping to find one local person (with a car/truck) who can help in the house and in the yard, garage, etc.. I don’t have enough work to have someone come a day every week if I have to separate things out. (There may be some weeks when I won't have any work, or other weeks where I might might need help more than once. So if you have any flexibility, that would great. I had a guy who was talented, but he was an angry man, and it was too unpleasant. Please.. we all have problems. Leave yours at home.

Then I got this guy who was perfect, and we loved him, but recently he had a disaster in his personal life, and he doesn't know when he would be able to return. He said I better get someone else because he has no idea when he might be able to return. And he left stuff half done outside.
If you are willing and able to do a variety of things as needed, I can give whatever work I have to the same person. I am disabled from a car accident (in the back seat), and can’t do much now. I used to do almost everything. My husband can only do so much - he still works and has bad knees. You must not be afraid of well-behaved parrots, I have two. We start at noon on a week day as a rule, and would like to be done by five. I'll need you pick up stuff as needed ( I pay for it, of course). It is possible to work on a weekend if necessary. Sundays are not good.
Some work pays more than others, (e.g., filing and cleaning out closets pays less than carpentry). These things are not all at once. You have to be ok following instructions. But be able to work independently. I’ll need your email, phone, references, emergency contact and drivers license if you are hired.
Examples of what I need are:
OUTSIDE STUFF: lawn, yard, garden, trimming, leaf work (we have a riding mower and garden tools), stacking and bringing in wood, maybe splitting (we can rent a splitter if you need to), maybe cutting some up if you have your own chain saw (we use a tree service for big stuff), minor carpentry and repairs, painting, cleaning, straightening up the garage with me in good weather (a bit at a time), stopping at Home Depot to pick up stuff (they call me to pay for it) .. also other stores, fixing and repairing whatever, (maybe picking up/planting starts, trimming bushes, watering if needed, etc. You don’t pay for the stuff, we do. If you have to reach in your pocket, get a receipt and I’ll reimburse you immediately. You need to be able to take a check, disabled ladies don't get to the ATM much.
INSIDE STUFF: general household help (I have a cleaning lady), minor carpentry when it comes up (you need your own tools), thinning out closets, bringing stuff to good will or the women's shelter, maybe filing ... whatever needs doing.
