A beautiful four-panel set of hand-painted silk artworks in the traditional Chinese/Japanese bird-and-flower (花鳥画) style, each framed in dark hardwood with a woven brocade mat border and brass hanging hardware.
The panels form a seasonal set, each featuring pairs of red-crowned cranes — symbols of longevity and fidelity — among peonies, flowering plum branches, bamboo, and autumn foliage.
Each panel bears a calligraphic inscription and a red artist’s seal in the upper corner.
