‘05 Squier Special Edition Standard Series Fat Strat - $300 (Berthoud)

It’s in very good shape with few signs of wear and use. There’s some scuffing down below the bridge almost to the bottom. It’s hard to see and harder to photograph. There are some superficial scratches on the back but they’re minimal and very hard to see. No dings or scratches that go through the paint or that exposes raw wood anywhere.
The 5-way switch tip and the trem bar tip are supposed to be black, but the white ones work great.
The Standard Series Strats set themselves apart from the cheaper Affinity and Bullet Series guitars.
These have a Rosewood slab (not veneer) fingerboard, full thickness Alder body, synthetic bone nut, 22 frets and Alnico pickups. It also has stainless steel block saddles and a 2 point tremolo. Wiggle stick is present with this guitar.
I filed the fret ends so there is not any “fret sprout.” The frets were also polished and the fretboard has been moisturized with some F-One Fretboard oil. Pots have been sprayed out to make sure everything is working just fine.
I did give it a setup but you may need to make adjustments to match your tastes.
This model is also a “Fat Strat” with a humbucker in the bridge to offer a thicker, full sound when using the bridge pickup.
