Easter Egger Hen - $5 (Saline County)

About 19 Easter Egger Hens that are a little over two years old and laying big bluish/greenish eggs, are available along with a free crossbred rooster (not an Easter Egger). The hens are $5 each. They have always had organic or no-corn, no-soy, non-GMO feed, along with free range to outdoors for about half of each day. May be more entertaining than most hens, if someone wants to entertain themselves, since these "circus" hens learned early on to jump up to get pieces of meat from my fingers. But I don't know if they'll do that for anybody else. Two-year-old hens won't lay as well as younger hens, but the eggs they do lay are generally pretty large.
