Very scarce antique Atkins Setting Stake. It was used flat with a hammer to set the teeth on cross-cut saws. The tool was pounded into a log or block for use. It was sold in saw filing kits. This one is cast iron and 7-1/2 inches long and in excellent condition. It was made by E.C. Atkins & Co. in Indianapolis, Indiana.
