We at Storage2U are looking for a part time/back up driver who is able to move our portable storage containers, similar to PODS, to and from our customers homes/businesses. We use meduim duty Mack trucks, rarely but sometimes a truck with trailer, to move the units and the driver will need to be trained to use our remote control "forklift" to load/unload and position the pods where the customer would like them on their porperty. It's typically around half the time driving and half using the little forklift to position the pod.
We pay $35/hour to start and obviously you'd be using our equipment which we will handle all the costs. We cannot promise any definite hours per week as we are looking for someone who has flexibility and can jump in and help off and on. We do a few long distance jobs, only within Oregon, and these jobs are genereally easier and even better bang for the buck. There is also a position pressure washing and cleaning the pods and trucks that is likely to open up withing the next year, our current yard manager wants to move on to his own gig in about a year.
