These are very large, well made (fully welded), very strong panniers. If you need the largest volume possible, these are the answer.
The key locks the side door. There is an internal bolt that locks the pannier to the rack. The panniers are great. Solid and clean.
The racks are designed to sit on the side mounts of the bike's rear frame. The racks support the panniers decently, but are not made for falling over. The racks have been rebent and rewelded a couple of times after tip overs. Someone who knows a little welding could reinforce these racks to make them more stable.
Original cost for this set was $1800. These need to go to a new home. Contact me with any questions.
