Established gigging Gen X power trio playing original music looking for a keyboard player (not a piano player). Prefer a Hammond, Leslie, or Farfisa type of player, but open to anyone of any age/taste/persuasion/style/gender/ethnicity who wants to branch out.....as long as you are not a pianist. Music is high energy and loud. Extra points if you really abuse the organ on stage like Steve Nieve. If you are wondering, yes- we play both kinds of music....... Surf and Blues. Not your Grandfather's surf music, even though we do add a few classics into the set list. Definitely not your Grandmother's Blues- all originals and more like White Stripes than BB King. Practice is usually twice per month, very casual (but not in the city). Gigs are about 6-8 per year. No knives or guns, but drugs OK.
