Bend/Sisters Garden RV Resort, a highly rated Good Sam Park in Oregon, is currently seeking a full-time Maintenance/Groundskeeper for various maintenance duties, including mowing, weed eating/irrigation, and general upkeep. The resort is conveniently located 4 miles outside of Sisters on Highway 20, en route to Bend.
NOTE: this is NOT a work camper position. It does not come with an RV site.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Reliable transportation
- Punctuality
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions
- Experience in operating equipment, zero-turn mower, weed-eaters, and edgers
- Ability to lift 50-75 pounds
- Basic knowledge of general maintenance tasks
- Basic plumbing/electrical experience
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Mowing* lawns and trimming edges
- Weed-eating and managing irrigation systems (repair frozen pipes, and miscellaneous repairs)
- Maintenance/cleaning of equipment, golf carts, weed eaters, blowers, etc.
- Pump propane with the ability to lift 50-75 lbs.
- Park blowdown and general upkeep of the grounds
- Sanding and staining (picnic tables)
- Snow plowing, blowing, shoveling
- Performing general upkeep and maintenance tasks around the resort
- Ensuring the grounds are kept in pristine condition for guests
*mowing typically wraps up by early October
