SELLING ONLY AS ONE COMPLETE PACKAGE. I am not separating the coop, hens, feed, or accessories.
We recently moved, and our HOA does not permit chickens. That is the only reason for the sale. These hens have been meticulously and lovingly cared for, and finding them a safe, responsible home is important to us.
NESTERA COOP AND RUN
Purchased new directly from Nestera-USA.
Included:
- Nestera Raised Large chicken coop, rated for 6-8 hens
- Nestera 6.5-foot enclosed run
- Nestera 3.5-foot run extension
- Approximately 10 feet of enclosed run
- Nestera automatic chicken-door opener
- Three removable Nestera droppings trays
- Additional lower wire-mesh reinforcement
- All connecting hardware and components
The current replacement cost of these exact Nestera components is $1,735:
- Raised Large coop: $899
- 6.5-foot run: $349
- 3.5-foot run extension: $229

That $1,735 replacement cost does not include the hens, feed, waterers, feeders, bedding, treats, or other supplies included with this sale.
Nestera coops are made from durable recycled plastic rather than wood. They do not rot, require painting, or absorb moisture like many traditional wooden coops. The removable trays and plastic interior make the coop especially easy to clean and maintain.
THREE HEALTHY LAYING HENS
All three hens are healthy, currently laying, and already established together as a flock:
- Cuckoo Marans, approximately 2 years old
- Ameraucana, young laying hen, under approximately 1 year old
- Black Star, young laying hen, under approximately 1 year old
All three were purchased from Murray McMurray Hatchery, and purchase records are available. They have been well cared for and have been reliable producers.
FEED, WATERING EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES
The package also includes essentially everything needed to continue keeping chickens immediately:
- Approximately 280-320 lb of chicken feed
- Mealworm treats
- Automatic watering system
- Heated winter poultry waterer
- Several additional waterers
- Feeders
- Pine bedding
- Remaining chicken-care supplies and accessories
This is a true turnkey setup. A buyer will receive the coop, extended run, automatic door, three laying hens, feed, bedding, feeders, waterers, treats, and related supplies.
PICKUP AND TRANSPORT
Pickup is in SE Bend.
Buyer should bring:
- A pickup truck or trailer
- Secure poultry carriers or appropriate ventilated containers
- Adequate help for loading
- Basic tools for separating the run sections if necessary
The coop and run can be partially disassembled into sections for transportation. Buyer is responsible for disassembly, loading, and transport.
