Shift: 3 days (24-hour shift). Flexible days and start times
Looking for a caregiver, that’s patient and can work independently. Should have a heart for caring for people. Will help residents with ADLs and IADLs, in a quiet home setting. While working caregiver will remain at the AFH. We will provide OJT.
Job Duties Include (Not limited to):
Meal prep and cooking
Light housekeeping; clean bathroom, trash removal, and laundry.
Most residents are independent and don’t need help with ADL tasks. One person needs help with dentures.
Accurately administer medications and document MARs and progress notes.
Help residents prepare for appointments.
Interact with care team members.
Schedule transportation to appointments.
Contact pharmacy for refills.

Qualifications and Experience:
Must be legally qualified to work in the United states.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Willingness to complete 12 hours of training annually.
Certified in CPR & First Aid.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
Must be able to pass Oregon Mental Health Caregivers test. (study guide available)
Must have reliable transportation to work.
Be able to read, write, and speak English.
Must have basic computer skills.
Good communication skills.
