Selling our 2011 Subaru Outback Premium with 200,000 miles. Clean Oregon title in hand.
The car currently starts instantly, idles perfectly smooth, and runs/drives under its own power. This vehicle has been an incredibly reliable Central Oregon winter rig for us. We are only selling because we just upgraded to a brand-new vehicle and want it out of the driveway this weekend.
Priced firmly as a MECHANIC'S SPECIAL / PARTS CAR / PROJECT due to the high mileage and known
wear items listed below.
The Standout Features:
• Tires: Equipped with a solid set of snowflake rated Falken Wildpeak A/T3 all-terrain tires. Plenty of deep severe-snow traction left for local winter roads.
• Condition: The body panels, doors, and interior are all in tidy shape for the age and mileage. Windshield is cracked because, well, central Oregon. Excellent donor vehicle or project platform.
Full Mechanical Disclosures (Sold Strictly AS-IS):
• Dashboard Warning: The airbag warning light is currently illuminated on the dash. Connections under the seat were checked but it has not been diagnosed further; sold as-is.
• Engine / Cooling: A radiator hose disconnected on the road recently, causing a temporary power drop/limp mode and a temporary loss of cabin heat. The hose was securely reattached and fluids were refilled to drive it home. The oil is currently clean/amber and the main engine computer codes reset on their own, but because it experienced a thermal event, assume it may have underlying head gasket or engine wear from the heat. It has not been professionally diagnosed at a shop following the incident. It is currently drive able and no new codes have popped up on the dash.
• Exhaust Manifold: There is a known physical crack in the exhaust manifold that creates a standard "whistling/ticking" sound when warm. Suba Guru in Bend inspected it and recommended a simple weld job to seal it up.
• Cam Plugs: Rear cam plugs have a standard, slow high-mileage oil weep. This is common in every Subaru of this age.
• Suspension: Front right suspension has a low-speed clunk when turning tightly to the left over bumps (worn ball joint/boot).
• Rear Windows: The rear passenger power windows currently do not roll down. Front windows work perfectly. Heated seats work great, so does the radio. Drivers power seat also works well.
