We are seeking an experienced heating oil delivery driver to join our team. We need a dependable, safety- conscious professional with previous residential fuel- oil delivery experience who is familiar with Nassau County, Western Suffolk and Eastern Queens.
Qualifications:
* Valid CDL Class B or higher with Hazardous Materials and Tank vehicle endorsements.
* Current DOT medical certification.
* Clean and acceptable driving record.
* Must meet all applicable DOT/FMCSA and New York DMV requirements for operating a commercial vehicle and transporting hazardous materials.
* Ability to safely operate a fuel delivery truck, house and related delivery equipment.
* Ability to perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery records.
* Familiarity with Nassau, Suffolk and Queens preferred.
* Must be dependable, punctual, and comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
* Must be able to meet physical requirements of the job.
* Local candidates strongly preferred.
