Offered together is the complete four-issue Wolverine limited series from 1982, written by Chris Claremont with spectacular Frank Miller artwork.
This groundbreaking series was Wolverine's first solo comic-book series and helped define the character beyond his X-Men adventures. Set largely in Japan, it explores Logan's personal code of honor, his love for Mariko Yashida, and his struggle between his human and animal instincts.
Its Japanese setting, samurai themes, and characterization have influenced decades of Wolverine stories and adaptations, including elements associated with the Hugh Jackman film The Wolverine.
All four are preserved in their individual CGC cases.
These are comics from my personal childhood collection, making this a particularly special set. I'm offering them together only and will not separate the issues.
COMPLETE FOUR-ISSUE SET: $1,000 FIRM.
An extraordinary Christmas gift for a Wolverine or X-Men enthusiast!
Serious collectors and inquiries only. No lowball offers, please. Available locally before I consider auctioning the set in the next 1–2 months.
