Made by Chicago-based Platt luggage company between the 1940s and 1960s for aviators and business travelers.
Measures 20 inches wide, 15 inches tall and 7 inches deep.
All-original with two latch locks (no keys) that work perfectly.
Monogrammed AA in gold letters on top. Cool plaid interior with 2 dedicated compartments separated by a divider with embossed hinge clamps and large snap pocket.
Minor age-appropriate scuffs and other wear that do not detract from overall appearance.
Six brass footings on bottom, which is stamped '"top-grain cowhide."
