I am downsizing and re-homing some of my collection of wonderful vintage Kenmore sewing machines.
FOR SALE: Vintage 1977 Kenmore sewing model 158-19412.
The Kenmore model 158.1941 sewing machine was the top line “convertible” sewing machine of the time. That means when a flat bed sewing surface is not needed the extension table can be removed for free arm sewing. The model is among the last of the all metal Kenmore sewing machines and considered to be the best of their free arm models. The 158-1941 is desired for it’s versatility and durability.
This is a strong machine with a 1.0 amp motor. It was built to be in competition with the Bernina 830 model sewing machine from the 1970's
Has 5 standard and 5 stretch stitches built-in. The feed dogs drop easily for darning or free motion embroidery. The 1.0 amp motor gives it the punch power to sew through heavy material. The high lift presser foot bar allows you to sew through multiple layers of fabric.
The machine comes with:
_plastic hard shell case
_set of super high shank presser feet
_copy of an original user manual
_foot pedal and power cord
_bobbin case and class 15 bobbins
_LED bulb
The machine had a full service, oil, lube, adjustments - test sews all stitches well!
