Role Summary
The Driver / Field Operations Coordinator supports Skyline Roofing's field operations by combining hands-on material delivery with day-to-day coordination of active jobs. This role checks in on job progress across multiple active sites, ensures crews have the materials and equipment they need, and helps coordinate job schedules and material deliveries alongside the Project Manager. This candidate should have an in-depth knowledge of roofing installation, complete understanding on how to read plans and be able to coordinate for upcoming subcontractor, material, and labor needs, be a safety advocate and control quality and costs.
This person splits delivery and yard responsibilities with Skyline's other Driver while taking on a broader coordination role — flagging schedule conflicts, tracking material needs across jobs, and keeping the office and Project Manager informed of field status. On island jobs, the Driver / Field Operations Coordinator may operate independently, managing ferry logistics, deliveries, and waste disposal without direct supervision.
