The Role
We're looking for an experienced Lead Painter to run large interior and exterior projects on site. You'll lead the crew day to day, hold the quality standard, and be the link between the customer, the crew, and the owner. This role is for someone who knows the trade, takes ownership, and shows up ready to work every day.
Responsibilities
Lead large interior and exterior projects from prep through final walkthrough
Direct and support crew members on site to keep work moving efficiently
Perform quality checks throughout the job so work meets our standards and matches the agreed scope
Keep the job within scope, and communicate with the owner and the customer before any work is added or changed
Operate airless spray equipment and handle brush and roll work
Keep the job site clean, organized, and safe
Report daily progress, issues, and material needs to the owner
Requirements
Proven reliability: on time, every day, and follows through
Experience leading large interior and exterior painting projects
Spray experience is required (airless equipment, setup, masking, cleanup, and maintenance)
Solid understanding of the trade: surface prep, products, coatings, and application methods
Strong attention to detail and a high standard for finished work
Clear, professional communication with customers and the owner
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Preferred
EPA RRP (Lead-Safe) certification
Experience with commercial projects
Experience training or mentoring less experienced painters
Compensation & Schedule
Pay: 30-36$
Schedule: 9am-5:30pm
