Motel 6 Bellingham is looking for a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Guest Service Representative to join our Front Desk team.
As a Guest Service Representative, you will be one of the first points of contact for our guests. You will welcome guests, assist with check-in and check-out, answer questions, handle reservations, and help ensure every guest has a positive experience.
No previous hotel or hospitality experience is required. We provide full, paid training. This position is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and wants to develop valuable customer service, communication, and administrative skills.
What You’ll Do
• Welcome guests warmly and provide professional, courteous service.
• Process guest check-ins and check-outs accurately and efficiently.
• Answer telephone calls and assist walk-in guests with questions and reservations.
• Manage room reservations using our digital booking system.
• Provide helpful information and recommendations about local restaurants, transportation, attractions, and activities in Bellingham.
• Process guest payments accurately and follow established cash-handling procedures.
• Respond to guest questions, requests, and concerns and help resolve problems professionally.
• Communicate and coordinate with the housekeeping team to ensure rooms are clean and ready for arriving guests.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk and lobby area.
• Follow hotel policies and procedures to ensure guest safety, security, and satisfaction.
• Perform other front-desk and guest-service duties as needed.
