HireQuest Direct is hiring CDL-A Log Truck Drivers
Our client hauls logs and timber throughout Northwest Washington using company-provided, newer-model Kenworth trucks. We are seeking a dependable, safety-minded Class A driver for highway, mountain-road, logging-road, and other off-highway work.
Drivers are trusted to manage their work professionally and independently. Log hauling experience is preferred but not required. Our client will train an otherwise qualified driver who has the required two full years of Class A driving experience but lacks log-hauling experience.
Compensation and Benefits

• Medical insurance with our client covering 80% of the employee premium; the employer contribution is currently valued at approximately $600 per month
• Employer-matched IRA contributions up to 3%, paid monthly safety training, and ongoing driver education
Actual earnings are not guaranteed and vary based on attendance, available loads, productivity, and efficiency. Fuel surcharges are excluded from commission calculations.

• At least 23 years old, as required by the company’s insurance provider
• Able to work independently and operate safely on mountain roads, logging roads, and other off-highway work areas
• Reliable, professional, detail-oriented, and able to complete required paperwork
Preferred Experience (Not Required)
