1965 Pearson Vanguard. 'Vivian'
Always the prettiest boat in the the cove. And one of the most solidly built. Classic Phillip Rhodes design. Nimble and seaworthy.
Overall good condition. Interior clean and bright. Has the 'dinette' layout. Comfortably sleeps 4.
New hull paint (Flag blue) and epoxy primer and bottom paint in 2023.
Deck non-skid in places could use sanding and replacement . No soft spots.
Boat has been in the Puget Sound and San Juan Islands for the past 30-40 years. Was owned by one family for most of that time.
Has been a great daysailer and cruiser in the Sound.
I bought this boat a year ago and haven’t found the time to get away and actually sail her as I live in Alaska and work summers (the best sailing weather).
Repowered with Universal diesel 3 cylinder 25hp. Runs well. Has never let me down.
